If this is your first time visiting the mile-high city, or even if you&#8217;re a local, be sure to take some time during the week to check out everything the city has to offer. Here are just a few things we&#8217;ll be doing:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-1up.com\/\">Play vintage arcade games the 1up<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Inspired by Ground Kontrol in Portland and Barcade in Brooklyn, this arcade bar has its own Denver spin (not to mention a very clever name).<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/bouldercolorado.gov\/osmp\/trails-and-maps\">Hike near Boulder<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Just a half hour from Denver sits the outdoorsy town of Boulder. We&#8217;ll be checking out one of the many trails that are easy to access in the nearby foothills and may even stop by the <a href=\"http:\/\/boulderteahouse.com\/\">Boulder Teahouse<\/a> on our way back to Denver.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/denverartmuseum.org\/\">Visit the Denver Art Museum<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>The museum has an extensive collection including one of the best exhibits of <a href=\"http:\/\/denverartmuseum.org\/collections\/western-american-art\">Western American Art<\/a>. It is also host to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/denverartmuseum.org\/exhibitions\/western-epic-art-and-film\"><em>The Western: An Epic in Art and Film<\/em><\/a>\u2014an exhibition that examines the western genre in film, fine art, and popular culture.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/lingerdenver.com\/\">Dine in an old mortuary<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>The Linger Eatuary is located in a mortuary that used to hold the remains of Buffalo Bill.
